La Nina winters can be a bit like a broken record. There is the lack of snow and the windy days. And did I mention the wind? After a welcome 1.1 inches of snow this morning and a relatively calm day, more wind is in the forecast for Wednesday. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for the northern Front Range Foothills for much of Wednesday for sustained winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 75 mph.
Aside from the wind the weather over the next few days will be tranquil. A look at my experimental DarkSky forecast shows relatively mild temperatures:
