Sometimes cold air settles in on the High Plains to our east, but we remain above the cold air mass here in Nederland. In this video, you can see the clouds associated with the cold air pushing in from the east (right of the picture), but not making it up to the ridge we live on. In this case, Boulder, 3000 feet below is experiencing an overcast and cool day while we are sunny and relatively mild.
